Welcome to the moray canoe & kayak club. In summer we meet on the Spey for a trip down the river. In the winter when the water is colder we have sessions at Moray Leisure Centre where we practice as well as introduce new people to the basic concepts of kayaking in a warm safe environment to build confidence, teach rescue techniques and prepare for our summer outside sessions. The club restarted in 1988, based at the Moray Firth Water Sports Association clubhouse on West Beach, Lossiemouth, Moray. We are a group of paddlers of all ages and all stages of experience . We have regular sea kayak outings, evenings during the summer and weekends in the winter. We have a surf kayaking section of the club that surfs on local breaks - Sandend and Lossiemouth and breaks further a field like Thurso.
